Professional Development

The main goal of the NJ-AIMH is to provide professional development opportunities and connections to infant mental health professionals.

Training events, webinars, and workshops are posted on our calendar and via our social media platforms: Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.

The Monthly Lunch and Learn Series is a members only offering. Join NJ-AIMH the second Tuesday of each month to engage in rich discussions highlighting an infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) topic. We will engage in reflective discussions on the ways these foundational theories guide our work. Participants will receive reading materials prior to session and are encouraged to share thoughts and wonderings. This is a guided discussion group for all professionals working with infants, young children and their families! See the Calendar for dates.

Each year, we co-sponsor the Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation Conference with the Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health at Montclair State University, YCS Institute, CITE and other community partners.

In addition to this conference, we co-sponsor the annual Luminary Conversations Series which allows us to learn from luminaries in our field through an intimate interview format.
